Every evening, exactly at the same hour, Sa and Har, the Hangers of the Moon, roll the moon in and hang it on a hook in the middle of the sky. Every evening, the rolling moon appears with a new story, according to the month and the season. Sa and Har play the characters in the story that the moon brought them. By the end of the story, they announce the new date and hang the moon
so that it could light the sky. How nice it is to watch the world and play when you’re floating on top of a cloud!
Process
כל ערב בדיוק באותה השעה סה והר, פועלי הירח, מגלגלים את הירח ותולים אותו על הוו באמצע השמיים. בכל ערב הירח המתגלגל מופיע עם סיפור חדש המתאים לחודש ולעונה. סה והר משחקים בסיפור, שהביא להם הירח ומציגים את הדמויות. עם סיום הסיפור, הם מכריזים על התאריך החדש ותולים את הירח כדי שיאיר את השמיים. כמה טוב להביט על העולם ולשחק כשמרחפים על ענן!
על התהליך
סדרת ״אגדות הלבנה״ נבנתה בעבודה אינטנסיבית צפופה. בכל חודש נבנתה הצגה חדשה. הזמן הקצר דרש לבטל היררכיה בין האלמנטים השונים של ההצגה. הטקסט, התאורה, המוזיקה, העיצוב ועבודת המשחק נבנו כמעט בו זמנית. בהצגות שיחקנו בין אלמנטים שנשארו קבועים ועברו איתנו מהצגה להצגה כמו הדמויות של סה והר, טקס תליית הירח ואלמנטים עיצוביים ומוזיקליים אל מול הסיפור המשתנה, שהביא איתו בכל פעם רוח אחרת צבועה בז׳אנר אחר והעיף אותנו למחוזות אחרים של דמיון ושפה.

The series “Legends of the Moon” was created through very intensive work. Every month a new play was developed. The short time demanded that we dismantle the hierarchy between the show’s various elements: text, lighting, set design and acting were constructed almost simultaneously. In the different plays of the series, we combined constant elements that remained throughout all the series, such as the characters of Sa and Har, the ceremony of hanging the moon, and musical and visual elements, with the changing story, which brought with it a new atmosphere, a new genre, and made us fly to new territories of language and imagination.
